Catholic Social Teaching Values

At St Mary's Catholic Social Teaching Values are ingrained in our school ethos and beliefs.

There are 9 Catholic Social Teaching Values or Principals. They are:

The Common Good

Subsidiarity

The Option for the Poor

Peace

Stewardship

Participation

Every Friday as part of our whole school weekly celebration, we distribute CST rewards to children who have lived out one of these principals in their daily life, whether that be in the classroom, the playground or generally in school.
